MANUAL DEL PROYECTO BASURA CERO = ESCUELA SALUDABLE
This is a descriptive manual of the Zero Trash = Healthy Schools project (Zero Trash Project) realized in my site, Pilar Paraguay from 2010-2011. Pilar is a town of approximately 35,000 habitants in southwestern Paraguay is the twelfth department of Paraguay, Ñeembucú. During the first two years, the project was successful among the institutions that participated. This manual is designed to facilitate the sustainable adaptation of the Zero Trash Project to other sites in Paraguay and perpetuate responsible trash management and the zero trash movement. The project has already been successfully adapted in Coronel Oviedo, Caa guazú under the name “Practicando las Tres Rs”. The Zero Trash Project is not only a dynamic and adaptable project but it perpetuates the movement for a better and cleaner tomorrow. The project promotes the idea that if we all collaborate, we all win and in the end the project becomes not only Zero Trash = Healthy Schools, but Zero Trash = A Healthy World. With this the said the manual is more an incentive for a cleaner and healthy planet in all levels of society. I hope that you enjoy this manual and can use it to your utmost advantage to call to attention the worldwide trash problem in your institution or community.
